Precautions for operating the machine tool cooling pump

The machine tool cooling pump can be used to circulate cooling lubricating fluid for machine tools or other equipment. It is suitable for any frequency and any voltage of 50Hz or 60Hz (220-240V in single-phase) and 380-420V. Coolant is generally saponification liquid, emulsion, soda water, light mineral and other liquids without severe corrosion. The following points should be noted when using the machine tool cooling pump:

(1) When installing, the casing of the machine tool cooling pump should be grounded.

(2) Before use, check that the insulation resistance between the windings of the machine tool cooling pump to ground and between the windings should not be less than 10 megohms. If it is lower than that, dry it.

(3) The machine tool cooling pump should be stored in a warehouse with dry air and no harmful gases entering.

(4) It should be kept clean. The bearings should be cleaned once a year and the lubricating grease should be replaced.

(5) If the flow rate of the machine tool cooling pump is found to be too low or the rotation direction is abnormal when in use, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection and troubleshooting.

(6) Before use, check whether the rotating shaft rotates smoothly and whether there is any sluggishness or rubbing of the impeller.

(7) The rotation direction of the machine tool cooling pump should be consistent with the arrow on the upper cover. If it is opposite, the connection positions of any two power lines can be swapped.

(8) When in use and installation, it should not impede the motor's power supply and heat dissipation.
